While I love a good surprise find as much as the next person, I’m careful about how I spend my time and money, which makes me pretty brand loyal when I find items, brands, designers, and stores that I like.
Meet Virginia Faves
Anthropologie –I always find classic pieces here that I wear year after year.
Free People –I love their boho vibe. While slated for the younger crowd, every season I find some great pieces here to add some panache to my wardrobe in an age appropriate way.
JCrew–Maybe it is because I grew up in the midwest, but I have been a JCrew fan forever.
Buckle— Buckle carries my favorite surf brands: Roxy, and O’Neill and my favorite jeans (DayTrip)
Lorna Jane— My favorite yoga and workout wear, hands down.
Nordstrom— Free shipping and free returns and they carry so many classic designers, such as Burberry, Valentino, and more.
Trunk Club: Nordstrom’s personal stylist service. If you are a Nordstrom card holder, then they waive the styling fee. You receive 8-12 pieces per trunk. Free shipping and returns. Choose monthly, every other month, every three months, or on demand trunks.
Stitch Fix: Another personal stylist service. 5 pieces per fix. Purchase all 5 and they take 25% off everything. Styling fee is $20/fix. I have scored some favorites from this service, and at low price points! (They also carry Lux brands so you can ask for a mixture based on your tastes and budget).
White House Black Market–I discovered WHBM back when I lived in Naples, FL. Great for picking up white, black, and neutral pieces that really expand your wardrobe.
Sephora–one stop beauty shop
Williams Sonoma— luxe kitchen fave
Bed, Bath, and Beyond–everyday living necessities fave
Grandinroad–great items for outdoor spaces
Amazon–I buy all my books via amazon. Cheaper than the bookstore, and with a Prime Membership, shipping is free.
Restored 316–beautiful genesis word press themes; geared towards female entrepreneurs.
Creative Market— stock photos, fonts, and templates for the discriminating blogger.
